"Visited Silver Tower in Richmond for lunch and was a bit worried when we walked in and the place was fairly quiet. Ordered the Western Special Set (19a) with Minute Steak, Pork Chop, Wings, Sausage and Egg Platter ($31.5) as well as the Baked Tomato Sauce Chicken on Rice (3a) ($23.50). Both dishes came with soup so we got one each of the Borscht and Cream Chicken and Corn Soup. Iliked how the soup was piping hot when they brought it to us and thought the cream soup was one of the better ones I've had at HK-style cafes. We also got a couple of Cold Lemon Teas (which I believe is extra from the sets). The dishes here are quite big. I liked that there was enough tomato sauce in the rice dish and the fries were pretty crispy. Overall, pretty good food. Debit or cash only."

"One of the best HK-style cafe food I've ever had in Vancouver. Inside was nice and bright. Rows filled with happy customers and appetizing food. Came here with a really special friend who recommended me a tasty pork chop rice dish that was amazing!! The auntie servers were ALL super friendly and nice, so I HOPE they get raises and get tipped really well Will definitely come back again -- definitely recommend."

"Food was amazing and came in decent portions. The highlight dish was the salted fish and chicken fried rice. Would go back just for that dish. Every dish included a generous amount of meat. Portions: Great Wok Hei: Great Would recommend. Debit/cash only."

"Haven't been here for a long time (7+ years?) but I remember it was one of the top places to go for HK style cafe so we decided to try it to see if it is still decent. The inside of the restaurant looks a bit dated but still plenty of room to sit. We were still within afternoon tea special so we ordered the Baked Pork Chop Cutlet Rice and Beef Brisket with Vegetable Chow Mein. Each came with a drink and was $17 each which is pretty good. The star of the show was the chow mein. It was crispy and went well with the oyster sauce and the beef brisket was tender and juicy. The baked pork chop rice was ok as there was a bit more bone in the pork chop than we liked and there wasn't any visible veggies that we could see (e.g. tomatoes). Overall still a good place to eat but probably stick with the food court as you don't need to tip."

"This place is real og and it's nearing 2 decades. Silver tower is a heavyweight contender for Hong Kong style cafe. This location has been a fantastic staple. The food is delicious. The parking is terrible. The Cafe Aunties can be bi polar at times. It's cash only and don't you ever forget that 10% minimum tip haha. Actually I think it's 12% minimum tip now. I've eaten so many dishes here over the years. Most of them are late night ones too. This place is great comfort food."

"Good place to grab some HK food. Portions were pretty big for the price and the food came hot and fresh! It was my first time eating spaghetti without tomato sauce…I guess in HK they eat it like a side of rice?"

"Ordered Baked Portugese Chicken for dinner, the amount of rice and chicken was generous and was absolutely delicious. First of all, the fried rice was well made. Not sticky or mushy, with a little bit of chewiness and eggy. Secondly was the chicken, tender and well seasoned. Thirdly there were some fried potatoes as a side, which was crispy. Finally was the soul, the Portugese sauce. It was perfectly seasoned, not too salty and with a hint of coconut milk. The only complaint that I can make is that if they can put some onions or carrots as a side, it will even be better, but I would give it a 5/5."
